Zarif: “Israel” Only Understands the Language of Resistance
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed, during an emergency meeting with the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member states, the need to put aside all disputes and unite to defend the Palestinian people.
Zarif: “Israel” Only Understands the Language of Resistance- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves and face the thuggery of the racist occupation.
This came in Zarif’s speech during the emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s member states, which was virtually held today, Sunday, to discuss the latest developments related to the recent Zionist crimes in occupied Palestine.
Zarif said, “We (in the countries of the Islamic world) should start a legal and political-institutional campaign at the regional and international levels against the Zionist apartheid entity.”
He pointed out that “the mass killing of Palestinian children is taking place today after the alleged normalization with the Zionist entity,” stressing that “this criminal entity has once again shown that making a peace deal with it will only intensify its cruelty.”
Zarif added that “the sole aim of “Israel’s” deceitful moves is to sow discord among Muslims and marginalize the Palestinian people,” and he said, “make no mistake.”
“Israel” only understands the language of resistance, and the Palestinian people have the full right to defend themselves and to stand firm in the face of this racist entity’s arrogance.”
Furthermore, Zarif called for the establishment of an international monitoring organization that is concerned with carefully monitoring and documenting crimes against the Palestinian people and preparing reports to send the ones responsible to justice.
He stressed the necessity of issuing local laws and also a joint decision by the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, through which “Israel” would be identified as an “apartheid” regime and its crimes would be on the list of “ethnic cleansing and crime against humanity.”
It is worth noting that Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif canceled his planned visit to Austria on Saturday, as the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, following the Israeli flag being raised at the Austrian government headquarters.
