Iran Knows Who Assassinated Martyr Soleimani
Deputy Commander of the Quds Force, General Mohammad Hijazi uncovers to Al- Mayadeen why "Israeli" knee knocks when referring to Quds Force, especially after martyr Soleimani took control.
The deputy commander of the “Quds Force” in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Mohammad Hijazi, said during a private dialogue with Al-Mayadeen, that “defending the oppressed and the weak is a part of our belief and our principles”.
Regarding the accusations of Iran interfering in foreign affairs, Hijazi affirmed that “the Iranian republic is ready to assist those who request our assistance. It has never interfered, nor will it interfere in any country, unless it is requested to do so”.
Hijazi indicated that when martyr Soleimani took responsibility for the Quds Force, the force took a big step forward and has developed in both quantity and quality.
He indicated that “Soleimani’s personality was active, strategic, and diligent, with remarkable courage”. He mentioned that the successive events that took place in the region paved the way for greater performance and presence from the Quds Force, starting from the liberation of South Lebanon in 2000, all the way to defeating ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
Regarding martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, he confirmed that he met with him numerous times. He described him as “a truly illuminating person with qualities of loyalty and determination and he used to expend all his energy on his tasks”.
The deputy commander added that Soleimani possessed different dimensions in terms of subjectivity and in terms of work. He pointed out that he is “the only military figure in Iran who was always present on the front-lines of confrontation for forty years.”
He added that Soleimani was a military commander of one of the most important units in the Iraq-Iran war, namely the “Tharrallah” corps, explaining that “this corp was one of the strongest and most successful corps on the frontline”. He continued that “after the war ended, a large number of leaders were devoted towards reconstruction, education, training, learning and more”.
Furthermore, Hijazi mentioned that “The Border Guard Command were unable to confront the threats, so a decision was executed to hand responsibility over to the Revolutionary Guards and General Soleimani was mandated to do so”, describing him as a strategic military figure experienced with security matters.
On the other hand, he indicated that “if we compare between the situation of the Palestinian factions, when martyr Soleimani headed the Quds Force, and their situation today, we find that they only possessed stones”.
Concerning that, Hijazi indicated that the words of the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, “strongly emphasized support for Palestine, considering that “it is a duty for us all, especially the Quds Force”.
He said, “Iran has relations with several Palestinian factions, along with all those who seek to liberate Palestine, and we support them all. We believe that with the support of the Palestinian factions, a large amount of the Palestinian people will exert their energy on the field of resistance in order to liberate Palestine”.
“Beyond the Enemy’s Imagination”
Regarding the special relationship between martyr Soleimani and Hezbollah, Hijazi believed that “both share a common way of thinking and share a common goal, which generally brings people closer together”, especially since they “worked together for a long time and were together before and after the July war in 2006”.
He explained that, “reviewing reports and analysis of Israeli experts is enough in order to acknowledge the depth of fear that they live with, because of the strength and precision missiles that the resistance possesses”.
The deputy commander continued, “We know that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is a sincere man and does not speak the language of media and propaganda. When he says that the missiles are in their possession, then this is certain”, noting that “the number of missiles is greater than the enemy predicts”.
Hijazi said, “The resistance today has a lot of potential and if the enemy commits any foolishness, they will surely regret it”.
He revealed that “the Israeli allegations, concerning strikes that they claim were directed at us in various arenas, are mostly lies and propaganda. Also, our advisory office in Syria has repeatedly responded to these lies and denied them”.
Concerning the Iranian presence in Syria, he stressed that there are no Iranian bases in Syria, explaining, “We have advisors to provide assistance and advice”.
“Israel” which can not protect itself, How Can It Protect You?
Regarding normalization, Hijazi indicated that the Arab countries that normalized ties, consider that “normalizing relations with the Zionist regime will bring them security”. He asked, “Can the Zionist regime guarantee its own security and can it protect itself in order to protect you?”
The deputy commander asked, “How can an enemy that builds high walls, six or eight meters high, as a result of fears from the resistance, bring security to others?”
He also envisioned that “the principle officials in these countries know that their justifications are false and inaccurate. They also know that all their excuses about normalization being able to provide security, are flimsy”. He considered that these acts are solely to obey America.
Hijazi pointed out that the matter of normalizing ties, requires decisions to be taken regarding the threats to Iranian security.
“Hurting Iraq Hurts Iran”
Regarding Iraqi-Iranian relations, he believed that “Iraq is a neighboring country and we share common interests and causes. I mean, everything that threatens Iraq threatens us and everything that threatens us is a threat to Iraq”.
He also pointed out that “the cultural, social and economic relations between Iran and Iraq have been present for a long time, especially after the fall of Saddam Hussein. The ties have been cemented”. In reference to the US forces, he asked, “To those who came from overseas to Iraq, what are you doing here?”
Hijazi stressed that Iran did not allow any “attack on the holy shrines to and this is our red line”. He explained that “if any shrine is attacked, we vowed to intervene without hesitation and it was not a flimsy threat, but a serious threat”.
The deputy commander pointed out that, “we knew ISIS was an American project, so that they could have an excuse to return to Iraq again”.
“Our Presence in Syria Remains Consistent”
Hijazi told Al-Mayadeen that “the martyr Soleimani was a man of battlefield. He used to obtain information from various parties that worked with him, but he would also go to the front lines himself “.
The deputy commander pointed out that during confrontations, Soleimani used to make the effort to see matters for himself and match what he saw with the information and reports that were presented to him. Also, “his method and style gave him an accurate perspective ”.
He explained that “when he was sitting with President Bashar Al-Assad, to discuss with him matters concerning the multiple fronts, he had a lot to say to him and offered accurate information”.
In addition, he indicated that President Al-Assad was benefiting from this information and news. He stressed that Soleimani expressed his views and plans to the president and explained to him how to think and plan for the future, and consulted the president and took his opinion on them”.
Only recently, Hijazi said, “The relationship with Syria is ongoing. Despite the confusion made by the media about our role and our presence in Syria being retreated, or affected in some way. To that we say no, this is not true at all. Our activity and our presence are just like before”.
In response to the question of whether there are meetings between General Esmail Ghanni and President Al-Assad, Hijazi confirmed that there are.
Yemen Crisis: Why it Would Not Stop?
Regarding the war on Yemen, Hijazi believed that as long as the Americans and Europeans provide support and weapons to the Saudi coalition, they will continue their aggression. He pointed out that “the other issue is that, as long as the Saudis don’t benefit from the war, they will not get out of the impasse that put themselves in”.
He continued, “In my opinion, as long as the internal state is not exposed to any pressure and as long as external support continues, Saudi Arabia will continue this war. But if they feel that external support could deteriorate or if they witness tension in the state, they will call off the war within hours”.
The One of A Kind Affinity
Regarding the relationship that existed between Supreme Leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei and martyr Soleimani, Hijazi said it was “special and distinctive, and like no other, due to the loyalty of Soleimani, his courage and his determination to achieve the goals”.
And he considered that Sayyed Khamenei “acts with kindness and love towards all leaders”, saying, “You saw in the burial ceremony and memorial service of martyr Soleimani, how the Supreme Leader honored Ghanni and kept him by his side. This demonstrates that the “Quds Force” and its leader have a special place in his heart”.
He continued, “Due to some circumstances, especially Corona, the meetings and visits have decreased, but his kindness, attention and guidance towards us and the entire country, didn’t. And from that we benefit”.
Regarding the question of whether Iran has details and security secrets concerning the assassination of the two martyrs, Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, General Hijazi replied, “Trump personally adopted the assassination of the martyr Soleimani and announced that it was an order and it was carried out”.
Hijazi said, “We have more doubts. As for those who had a hand in this criminal act, we have information about them, but we have no interest in talking about it now”.
